CAMP 2026

At Camp to Belong Maine, we welcome children and teens who have been separated from their sibling(s) due to separate foster care placements, separate kinship care, adoption into different families, or other planned living arrangements. Our camp is a place where siblings can come together to build memories, strengthen bonds, and enjoy a week filled with fun, healing, and connection.

Camper Applications

Who can be a camper?

  • Youth ages 8-18       

  • Siblings who are currently living separately

  • At least one sibling living in Maine

 

What to Expect -​

  • Overnight camp filled with swimming, arts & crafts, ropes course, campfires, tubing, and more

  • Lots of sibling time designed to strengthen sibling bonds

Volunteer Applications

Overnight Counselor Details

  • Adults ages 18 and over

  • Overnight at camp location for 9 days in August 2026

  • Counselors spend the week in cabins with campers and co-counselors  

 

Day Volunteer Details

  • Adults ages 18 and over

  • Perfect if you can not commit to 9 days of overnights

  • Pick the days and shifts that work best for you

  • Help with set-up/prep of signature events and support staff in various tasks
